NOTICE TO STAKEHOLDERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF CONTINUED WORK IN JENNINGS, ON VALLEY ROAD NORTH, WHICH WILL CAUSE DELAYS AND INCONVENIENCE.
Special Notice is given that a section of Valley Road North (VRN), in Jennings, between the Cedar Hall Moravian Church Junction and the turn off to the Jolly Harbour back entrance will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC on Sunday 13th April, 2025.
Vehicular traffic travelling south, beyond the Cedar Hall Moravian Church Junction, shall turn right on Monterey Road and follow the diversion signs to bypass the work areas and regain access to VRN.
Vehicular traffic travelling north, to destinations beyond Jennings, shall turn left at the junction with the road leading to Jolly Harbour back entrance and follow the diversion signs to regain access to VRN.
Flag persons will be employed and the general public is encouraged to follow all instructions to ensure a cautious and safe passageway, as h heavy duty equipment will be operating onsite.
There may be slight adjustments to the diversion route to lessen the inconvenience to vehicular traffic during the
weekend.
Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans to allow for delays. C O Williams sincerely regrets the inconvenience.
The road work is being carried out under the Government of Antigua and Barbuda’s Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project.

This must be the worst road construction company in the world. They have not completed factory road . Too often they interrupt the traffic on both factory road and valley road. We had to drive around fig tree for month and for years after they are still doing corrective. work . Far too often they interrupt the flow of traffic on both roads during rush hours.
I hope the increase we are paying in licensing fees for road construction and repairs. That the government will bring in a road construction company. We have good road construction companies in South America , to include Venezuela. Honestly I have had it with the company.
The government said they are going to be accountable with these funds . Part of accountability is value, efficiency and quality for money. They are lacking very much in all these areas.
