NOTICE OF NIGHT WORKS
The Ministry of Works wishes to advise the general public that night works shall commence at 6:00 pm tonight in the following areas:
- Parliament Drive
- St. George Street
Please exercise caution, as heavy duty equipment will be in operation.
Road users are asked to adhere to the detours, and follow all instructions provided by employees controlling traffic.
Motorists are also advised to remove their vehicles prior to works.

Road work, great! It would be nice if they had flag men directing traffic. Today driving from St. Mary’s to American Rd was a total nightmare.
Road work without flag men.
Taxi drivers stopping abruptly or on blind corners. Cars racing pass. Add to that, stop lights out along the way. I wanted to scream. What a total disgrace driving in Antigua has become. I prayed all the way until I returned home.
For God’s sake, get it together before people die.
