NOTICE: Important Road Works

This is to communicate the plan for road works for 21st – 28th June 2019.

This week, final carriageway base works to be completed in phase 1A and  swale excavation work will continue on Friars Hill Road

Drainage works is schedule to begin in phase 2 on Sir George Walter Hwy.

Traffic Management: ‘Reduced width Lanes’/ ‘stop and go traffic’.

Specific areas:

Work on Sir George Walter Hwy: 
Drainage works to begin in phase 2. This will result in a driveway closure at 2M Enterprises with no diversion of the flowing traffic.
Date: Friday  21st June 2019
Duration: 5:30pm – 11:00pm

Drainage pipes will also be installed between Scrapyard on and property opposite Caribbean Pharmaceuticals throughout this week.

Upcoming Road closures
Road closure at phase 1A -on Friars Hill Road between Cedar Grove Main Road Junction to Police Academy continues. This is to facilitate paving works.
Date: Tuesday 25th June 2019
Duration: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Diversion: Previously sent

Road closure scheduled at Phase 1B on Friars Hill Rd between Arnold Williams St to Old Popeshead Jcn. This is to facilitate milling and base works in this phase.
Date: Wednesday 26th June 2019
Duration: 1 Week
