Notaries Public Sworn in at Government House

Earlier this week at Government House, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, officially swore in Ms. Latoya A. Letlow and Mr. Wesley L. George as Notaries Public, following the advice of the Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.

The ceremony featured the taking of oaths and the signing of the Book of Oaths in the presence of officials, family members, and friends. In extending his congratulations, the Governor General expressed confidence that both appointees will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, thereby ensuring that the people of Antigua and Barbuda continue to have confidence in the legal system.

A Notary Public is an officer authorized to perform certain legal formalities, including administering oaths, witnessing the signing of documents, and certifying affidavits and deeds.
