Kurk Robinson of Cashew Hill ran out of luck on November 23 when he tried to smuggle weed through a police station in bun and cheese and bread and cheese.
At around 7:55 pm that day he came to the St.Johns Police Station to bring food for Elijah Lewis.
He was taken to an area where items are searched before being given to a prisoner and he was asked to remove the items from his bag.
He pulled out a brown paper bag containing bread and cheese and bun and cheese.
Robinson was told to open the bun and he did so, dropped it and ran.
He was quickly apprehended and a search was carried out on all the items in his presence.
In both the bun and the bread, the police found a foil paper containing a green bushy substance resembling cannabis.
They also found 19 match sticks, two side parts of a match box and 12 sheets of wrapper.
The youngster was placed in police custody and taken to the Police Headquarters the next day.
The drugs when weighed in his presence, amounted to 6 grams of cannabis worth $60.
He was therefore arrested and charged for possession of cannabis.
Today he told Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh that the man he was taking the drugs for is his employer.
“I don’t really know what’s happening to me. Sometimes I try to do the right thing but sometimes badness always coming to me,” he said.
The Magistrate having considered the amount of drugs among other factors, reprimanded and discharged him.

The weed was just as legal as the bun and cheese. He should have disclosed it and let them decide.
