Pointe Xpress – Antigua and Barbuda anticipates significant economic gains following the visit of a Nigerian delegation comprising business, political, and social leaders.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne praised the delegation’s role in bridging the gap between Africa and the Caribbean, emphasizing discussions on collaboration and cooperation.

Sectors like oil and gas, construction, land development, and manufacturing are engaging in talks with the government.

Notably, plans for a pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprise addressing prevalent health issues, including diabetes and hypertension, have sparked interest.

The visit seeks to bolster economic ties and foster partnerships for mutual growth, potentially benefiting the OECS and wider CARICOM community.

  1. Odd that NOBODY seems to have met or knows anything about these Nigerian businessmen. Are these Nigerian business some of those 13 in immigration detention at present and so that is why nobody seems to have met them? Or is this press release simply put out by the government to pretend that there are Nigerian businessmen visiting us?

  2. Lmao 🤣😂. I simply have to laugh, cause I’m running out of words.

  3. “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.” Giant Malt proposed that donkey years ago in collaboration with the Chinese. To take place in the proposed FTZ!
