A woman is lucky to be alive after she was reportedly injured during a confrontation with masked bandits this morning.

The robbers, who were dressed in dark clothing and armed with knives, attacked the woman as she was about to enter her home at #1 Armstrong Road, Gray’s Farm.

She told police the men demanded the keys to her vehicle and when she refused they tried to forcefully take it from her.

A struggle then ensued, during which the woman received a cut on her right hand from one of the knives.

The robbers then took the woman’s keys and drove off in her Nissan Terrano SUV with registration number A41821.

She said the vehicle contained an LG cellular phone valued at $500 EC dollars, a Samsung J7 cellular phone valued at $700 EC and a Jeans pant valued at $150 EC.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
