Schools and offices to open tomorrow

(CABINET STATEMENT)

The Director of the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) was questioned about tropical storm Isaac; the Cabinet was essentially informed that 1” to 2” (inches) of rain will likely fall—during the clouds’ passage across Antigua and Barbuda—but not all at the same time.

The Cabinet, therefore, decides that Thursday, September 13, 2018, will be a normal workday and school-day across Antigua and Barbuda.

All workers are expected to report for work at normal hours; all youngsters are expected to report to school, along with all teachers and staff.
