The police say they have not stopped searching for the man they believe was behind the Carlisle Bay armed robbery last month.

Anthony “Tug Life” Govia is the main suspect who reportedly stole about 70 thousand dollars from the luxury resort.

He has not been seen since although a woman said to be an accomplice has been charged with the crime and is now out on bail.

“It has been a few weeks now but we continue to make the appeal that if anybody has any information they can call the CID or any police station,” said acting police commissioner Atlee Rodney.

He said, “since the matter was reported to the police we have mounted several searches. We have interviewed a number of persons and we are doing our own intelligence to locate him.”

“Unfortunately we have not been sucessful in locating him…we would really like to get closure,” Rodney added.
