The police have confirmed that the decomposing body found in Point on Christmas day is that of 65-year-old, Denzil Solomon, of Royal Gardens.
Solomon was reported missing on Sunday, after disappearing two days earlier.
Denzil was identified by his son Khalid Solomon according to reports.
It is also reported that the deceased was known to be a heavy drinker, who frequented Mary’s Bar on Lower Newgate Street.
The body was found floating by Point Warf around 8:00 am on December 25th, 2017.
Foul play is not suspected.
