Beach users, marinas and small craft operators are advised that the Sand Haven section of Runaway Bay will be closed to the public access from Saturday 19th January – Thursday 31st January 31, 2019.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the laying of underground and subsea pipelines by The West Indies Oil Company, Limited (WIOC). The closure of this section of the beach is necessary to ensure the safety of the users of the beach and small craft operators.
WIOC regrets the inconvenience caused by the closure of this section of the beach. Every effort will be made to ensure project work is completed by Jan 31, 2019.
