Member of Parliament for St. Peter The Honorable Asot Michael returned to Antigua and Barbuda today, eager to return to parliament to serve his constituents.
Michael spent ten days at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota undergoing surgery on his back. The procedure was to correct two herniated discs that were pressing against his spinal cord.
After his successful recovery, the MP returned home and said his first order of business will be to attend the next parliamentary sitting on Thursday.
“I am going to parliament on Thursday to represent my people,” Michael who won overwhelmingly at the last poll said.
He also thanked the many well-wishers and friends who supported him with their many prayers, phone calls, and text messages while in the hospital.
“It is only through the help of the Almighty God, for he has been so good to me, family, well-wishers, and constituents that I am able to overcome this ordeal,” he said.
The St. Peter MP said he has returned with a new vigor and enthusiasm to continue to contribute to Antigua and Barbuda’s development.
He was met at the airport by his staff, well-wishers, and friends.

What God do you serve? Because obviously it’s not the one and true God who said we aren’t supposed to judge one another. He is the only true judge so why are you judging this man? Are you without sin? I think not so you have no right to cast any stones?
If u know who he is then u can judge and hope u not one that gets your 5 years hand out everytime he is a wicked man and if u na no that then check yourself
CURIOUS CAT: There is only one God! So we all serve the same one who gave us eyes to see, ears to hear and wisdom and knowledge to assess and decide. I wonder if you’re thinking of walking into a court room, interrupt the trial, and let the judge know that it’s only one judge, I don’t think so. We need to stop this nonsense about casting Stone and see things for what it really is in other words call spade a spade! That I think will serve our life purpose much better than going around in denial.
God is good too all of us. The fact that we are in the land of the living much too thank god for. And we all are mared with sin. So he that is withoit sin cast the first stone. David was a man after gods own heart. .his ability to confess his sin and ask for forgiveness .we should follow his example and stop bashing people over their failures and faults. Lift them up in prayer that can change each and all our hearts.
