Hundreds Of Land Owners To Be Impacted By Road Works

The names of hundreds of property owners have been published as the government seeks to acquire land as part of the ongoing UK funded road projects.

The Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) through the Ministry of Works has posted the land acquisition lists which include the names of all of the property owners on Friars Hill Road and the Sir George Walter Highway who could be impacted by land acquisition due to the Antigua and Barbuda Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project.

The lists are posted at the following business establishments on Friars Hill Road: Bridget’s Supermarket, Langfords Police Station, Billy’s Food Mart, Epicurean, Cost Pro, West Indies Oil Service Station and I.G.A. Supermarket located at Woods Mall. 

The lists are posted at the following business establishments on Sir George Walter Highway: West Indies Oil Service Station, Rubis Gas Station (also known as Dees Service Station), Island Provision and Coolidge Police Station. 

The lists could also be viewed at the General Post Office, St. John’s Police Station and Bargain Centre Supermarket.

  1. Government has a website. Really in this day and age you posting a list as significant as land acquisition at a supermarkets and post office? what happens with the land owners live oversea. come on man do better. Post the list online AND in the newspapers..
