The Department of Homeland Security in the United States says 233 Antigua and Barbuda citizens overstayed their U.S Visa in 2017.
However, that’s only 1.47 per cent of the total number of Antiguans and Barbudans who legally entered the US in 2017.
The DHS says 15,877 Antiguans were expected to leave at the end of 2017.
The report provides data on departures and overstays, by country, for foreign visitors to the United States who entered as nonimmigrants through an air or sea Port of Entry (POE) and were expected to depart in FY 2017.
The in-scope population for this report includes temporary workers and families, students, exchange visitors, temporary visitors for pleasure, temporary visitors for business, and other nonimmigrant classes of admission.
More than 600,000 foreign travelers who legally entered the United States in 2017 overstayed their visas and remained in the country by the end of the year, according to Department of Homeland Security data released Tuesday.

The Department of Immigration (DoI) has announced the start of a month-long amnesty that will enable anyone living and working illegally in the British overseas territory to depart.
It also applies to local employers holding permits for people that they can no longer employ to cancel them without risk of prosecution.

Are these all Native Antiguans and Barbudans or citizens by nationalization? These figures are too high 233 and 15,877 to be all Native Antiguans and Barbudans born. I will believe it when I see the breakdown of the finding my the United States Homeland Security.
