The Cabinet says it examined the hardships caused by the Millennium Citizenship enacted by the previous administration during its meeting
According to the government, several spouses and parents have been unable to make application on behalf of family members because of the restrictions placed in the law.
The Cabinet said it directed the Attorney General to bring to Parliament a draft that would “cure the inequities built into the 2005 law that limited the reach of citizenship, unlike any other citizenship by registration or residence.”

Natural born Antiguan’s are forbidden to hold public office and sometimes vote when they become US or any other citizen. Labour Party not going parliament to correct that. But the non nationals come first in Antigua in every way under labour. Indefinite amnesty, open door immigration policy, etc every time these people go parliament is to give non nationals the upper hand in Antigua. What about us?
