Family Hoping Second Autopsy will prove Shawn Warner Died of Electric Shock

The family of Shawn Warner is hoping a second autopsy will prove their suspicions that their loved one died of electric shock.

A previous postmortem conducted on Warner’s body provided inconclusive results.

A relative of the deceased told state media prior to the autopsy the family will meet with the pathologists who were flown in to perform the procedure.

“They need to see some of our pictures of what we have… we took on the day”, said Sandra Warner.

Shawn Warner died last November while the property of Caribbean Development (Antigua) Limited at Jolly Harbour.

The family believes he was came in contact with exposed electrical wires; a claim Caribbean Development (Antigua) Limited has disputed.

“We’re looking for the answer, which is I would say, the answer that he got shock”, the relative said.

The government will cover the cost of the second autopsy.

  1. I hope and pray for PEACE of mind. It is heartbreaking to know that mama has to go back to work in the exact same place where her son died.

  2. I do empathize/sympathize with this family-but i think the Mother should be hoping that the autopsy reveals the truth and not what they hope is the truth..I pray if it reveals otherwise that the Lord will grant them the strength to accept it.. Never easy to lose a loved one ,especially at such young age,but we are only left with one option when it happens and that is to turn to God for strength to move on..
