(PRESS RELEASE)

The Antigua and Barbuda Customs
and Excise Division is fully aware of the arrest of one of its officers on Monday February 18th in relation to investigations being conducted by the Office of National Drug and Control Policy
(ONDCP).

The Customs Division wishes to advise the public that it will continue to fully cooperate with the ONDCP and the Police as they continue to carry out their investigations.

The officer was allegedly caught with just over one pound of Cannabis valued at EC$4,500.

He has been charged with possession of the drug and possession with intent to supply.

The Antigua and Barbuda Customs and Excise Division is also conducting its own internal inquiry into the matter as the officer at the time of his arrest in the Jennings area should have been on duty in St. John’s.

It further wishes to express its appreciation to the ONDCP for the role it continues to play in the
ongoing effort to keep the country’s borders safe.

The Customs and Excise Division is resolved to operate at the highest levels of professionalism and integrity as it remains steadfast in its overall mission to protect and serve the people of Antigua and Barbuda.

CUSTOMS OFFICERS BANK ACCOUNTS ARE ALSO AT AN ALL TIME HIGH….

How is it possible that so many CUSTOM OFFICERS are MILLIONAIRES?

How is it possible that they can build MILLION DOLLAR HOMES FROM THEIR POCKETS HOW?

HUGE APARTMENT BUILDINGS IN PRIME LOCATIONS without having any history of owning a business, winning the lottery, or inheritance.

MR INDIAN REMEMBER THERE IS ALWAYS A MONEY TRAIL ALL OF IT IS TRACEABLE …. Where is your report on all the millionaires that you manage daily?

    OPEN SECRET..

  3. This incident was avoidable.

    All the signs are there.

    Investigate from top down.

Only investigators from outside can resolve customs woes.

Blind investigating people that can see…..

SAYING IT DOES NOT MAKE IT SO….. MOST PEOPLE KNOW DIFFERENTLY…..

  5. Things go missing from peoples shipments all the time. Consignments are opened without a Representative or the addressee being contacted. Best way to safeguard your items is to sleep in the consignment until you reach Antigua.

    • I heard people complaining that items are missing from their barrels all the time. I am wondering if they have someone at Bend-Down selling these missing items.

  6. What I would love to see is that the politicians, police, immigration, ONDCP and all the top officials taking lie detector test to stamp out all corruptions
