The Republic of China’s naval hospital has arrived, surgeries and many other medical procedures to begin immediately.
During its one week Mission Harmony 2018 visit, the Ark Peace will provide medical services to over 2700 Antiguans and Barbudans.
The hospital ship comprises five main medical areas, for casualty transfer, triage, outpatient, inpatient, and evacuation. It has 8 operating theatres and 300 hospital beds.

You have to call and register and either Mount St John or the ministry of health. I am not sure if the deadline has passed, but still give them a call

After the medical procedures who is responsible for follow up. The ship will be in Antigua for only one week.
Antigua is very lucky to have this visit from China’s floating hospital. Usually this ship only travels to really poor countries, so we should thank PM Browne and the China Ambassdor in Antigua for making this happen.
These medical services are worth millions $ and we should be so thankful. My wife and I are perfectly fine with Antigua building a strong strategic alliance with China and we support PM Browne in doing so.
Now let’s get a visa-free travel agreement between China and Antigua ASAP!
