Two armed masked men have robbed the popular Sweet T’s restaurant in Falmouth Harbour.
The bandits carrying a firearm struck late last night as the restaurant was about to close.
One worker said she saw the two men one of the men about 5’ 6” tall and slimly built, while the other one was about 5’10” tall.
According to the woman, the shorter of the two jumped over the counter while the taller one pointed his gun at the waitress and customers on the floor.
They got away with the cash register leaving staff traumatised. It is not certain how much cash was stolen.
The incident was reported to the Dockyard Police station at 8:30 p.m. A search was conducted for the assailants however they were not found.
Police are investigating the matter.
