New Zealand’s funding for Antigua and Barbuda’s SIDS Fourth conference is crucial for setting the agenda for small island developing states.

Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene thanked New Zealand for their support.

The meeting with New Zealand’s High Commissioner, E. Linda Te Puni, discussed cooperation, including New Zealand’s sargassum weed research and skills courses for Antiguans and Barbudans.

High Commissioner Te Puni will attend the SIDS4 conference, strengthening relations. They also bonded over cricket, shared history, and Commonwealth membership.

The meeting took place alongside the House of Representatives meeting, and afterward, the High Commissioner met with Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle.

  1. How embarrassing to sit there been infantillised, and it’s the same old Germans of UK associates that murdered the indigenous peoples of new Zealand and took their land, it must be an ingratiated feeling for that woman hearing some little children like our ministers just don’t know how to manage ourselves, black nations are like little children to be managed, children always steel out the candies, so to the ministers rather steal out the monies from the treasury than save it to response for their nation and infrastructure.

  2. Position your balls before you sit down Mr. Minister.
These guys, primarily the Prime Minister Gaston Browne are so clueless; that they issue publicity photos always highlight their ignorance of “manspreading”.

Are they really that clueless or is it cultural ignorance, or is it some form of macho essence?

    Get with it guys

  3. Very nice of New Zealand. From all accounts they have a pretty decent country that works well. We are a country in infant stages after independence. It’s good for every country to look around the world and learn from others (not just the currently dysfunctional US) and from past history and choose to operate in the future in a way that will lead to a peaceful and comfortable society for all. Plus we should be grateful for all the dollars available to offset the sky high prices around these days.
