The University of the West Indies (UWI) has appointed Dr. Dodridge Miller as its new Chancellor, marking the seventh person to hold this position. The University Council made the appointment at its annual meeting earlier this year.
Dr. Miller, a distinguished UWI alumnus, brings over 30 years of leadership experience from the banking, insurance, and financial sectors, including his recent role as Group President and CEO of Sagicor Financial Company.
In his statement, Chancellor Miller expressed his commitment to working closely with UWI’s contributing governments and university leadership to enhance collaboration and support for the institution’s regional development role.
