National Housing Refutes Land At Marble Hill Owned By PM Browne

It has come to the attention of the National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Company Limited, false information circulating on social media, claiming that 10.8 acres of land in the Marble Hill area, adjacent to the newly constructed Chinese Embassy, is owned by the Hon. Prime Minister, Gaston Browne.

National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Company Limited wishes to categorically state that this information is false and wishes to place on record that the National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Company Limited is the sole beneficial owner of the lands previously registered to Adams Investment Management of Trinidad and Tobago.  The lands were transferred to National Housing on 18th April 2016 and the entire area is earmarked for housing development for the people of Antigua and Barbuda, with eight (8) commercial lots and eighteen (18) residential lots.

The said lands are still in the ownership of National Housing and have not been transferred or sold to anyone including the Hon. Prime Minister Gaston Browne, or any member of his family.

The National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Company Limited continues to provide the highest quality of affordable homes to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.

Haters will come in all forms and they will try to attack you in many ways especially spreading rumors against you for their own personal mileage….. I am sure will agree with Mr. PM that the harder they come, the harder they will fall!!!

  3. Don’t they realize that running on lies will not work anymore. It worked in 2004 against Lester Bird, but it won’t work against Gaston Browne. He will expose you guys each and every time

  4. I thought a Hotel property was suppose to develop there.I have driven by there many times over the years. I did see a large sign about a Hotel. What happened to that Investor.The lands were transferred to National Housing.Why were they transferred and not sold to National Housing.Is it because those lands were freely given to ADAMS INVESTMENTS of Trinidad.By the Administration on a promise to Invest on such lands.I am asking questions.

    • Adams Inv. did not live up to the arrangement hence they lost the lands. This was part of the agreement (performance clause)

  5. Yes PM! “whatever you say is true,” this land is full of some zombies, alot of people walk around with a body but no brains. If its not cheap political points, people are jealous. Part of some truth comes out before the whole truth
