The government’s ongoing National Clean-Up campaign continues Thursday in four communities across Antigua as officials urge residents to place bulk waste outside for collection.
Clean-up crews are working today, Feb. 26, in Cooks Extension, Denfields, Bendals and St. Thomas as part of the islandwide initiative being carried out under the theme “Love Where You Live.”
Residents in the targeted areas are being encouraged to place large household items and other bulk waste at the roadside to facilitate collection teams.
The National Clean-Up campaign forms part of a broader effort to improve community sanitation, address illegal dumping and promote civic pride across Antigua and Barbuda. Officials have repeatedly called on residents to participate actively in maintaining cleaner neighborhoods.
All residents in the affected communities are invited to take part in the initiative.
