The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Hon. Prime Minister Gaston Browne, Minister of Finance & Corporate Governance & Public Private Partnerships, the Governor-General His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, and several other top public and private sector officials, signifying the national importance and collaborative spirit surrounding the census.

During the launch, the National Bureau of Statistics acknowledged the winner of the national slogan competition. He was awarded a cash prize of $500, a Samsung Tablet, and a certificate in recognition of his contribution to the census campaign.
“The census is a vital national undertaking that allows us to understand the composition and needs of our population,” stated Mr. Stachel Edwards, Chief Statistician/Census Officer. “The data collected will be instrumental in guiding our national development strategies and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.” Census officers will commence field operations on 25 June 2025, visiting households across Antigua and Barbuda to collect essential information.
