The Police Force of St. Maarten KPSM is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two missing brothers who recently arrived on the island from Antigua.
The brothers, Brabely Anthonio Esteves-Vasquez and Francisco Antonio Esteves-Vasquez, arrived in St. Maarten a few days ago. However, according to information from their family, it is believed that they have since left the island under unclear circumstances, police said in a press release.
The family has not heard from either of them since, raising concerns about their well-being. Both men are nationals of Antigua and Barbuda.
KPSM is urging anyone who may have seen or spoken with the brothers, or who may have any knowledge of their whereabouts, to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg Police Station at +1(721)542-2222 or call the anonymous tip line at 9300.
The Police Force said it appreciates the public’s cooperation in this matter

Are these the same brothers that got into a physical confrontation with a fisherman whereby a bench / chair came into contact with the fisherman’s face.
Drugs move gone wrong. Bout Antiguans.
Oops! They got Antigua passport to go visa free to st Maarten where other Santo Domingo people can’t go, and took the boat to the virgin islands, because once there a false ID can take you to the USA because you don’t need a passport down there.
This is a planned move by, check the last names Esteves Vasques. ANU, then be able to get into St maarten, now possibly some where in BVI keeping a low profile until making the USVI move.
Why these negative thought because they not antigua
So unfortunate
@ Danny.
These are not negative thoughts Danny, and by no means is it because of their nationality. Now all what I am hearing may or may not be true, but if you know these persons, if you know as to why the police here was investigating them, If you knew, if you knew, if you knew.
So, it’s not negative thoughts, it is logical assumptions.
Can assumptions be logical? Someone please let me know
That’s the price we pay when we allow every dog and pushy the privilege to call themselves Antiguan. It’s time we weed them all and repatriation them to their Spanish caves they crawled out from!
YES, Dany, exactly why!
These two scamps are not Antiguan!
An election is pending and that’s all your government is concerned about. You, Unfaithful National, might be called in and dragged over the coals for your remarks. There was no vetting before any of them came because a vote is a vote. Have you been hurt by any of them? Sounds like you have a gripe.
Wait…..why do people behave like this? The passports say Antigua, but everyone assumes that they were not born in Antigua. Geez. Are we so uncaring that no one is even wishing for a speedy recovery?
Father Jesus Lord people wicked so.
I pray that this doesn’t happen to any of your family members.
MR. BYAM
You know them personally? 🤣😅😂
These photos clearly shows some form of facial scarring which means that, they’re easily identifiable unless wearing a full facial mask in public.
Some thing smell fishy!
hopefully they just don’t want to be found ..anything else is going to be sad
They probably went there running there BIG ANTIGUAN MOUTH and got dealt with….
They just wanted a break from life man! Maybe they are well but just breezing off! We all talking about disappearing one day
Aren’t these boys from the grays farm area? I may recognize the face! And the Antiguan Police seem to not care about their own kind? Media houses have to be releasing the news to us? Let’s hear what authorities here and the government has to say
So why are u saying 2 brothers from Antigua…them na from ya them come from Santo Domingo come a Antigua and do they badness….along time them a bad…and them mumma feel she bad to….when are u fine them carry them back a Santo Domingo to BURIED no space ya
This is incredibly worrying. My heart goes out to the Esteves-Vasquez family in Antigua. I truly hope the Sint Maarten police get the information they need quickly and that Brabely and Francisco are found safe and sound.
These brothers went on a mission. It seems the mission wasn’t good. Else they would not be reported missing. May their parents find comfort. Usually these stories never end well
I hope they show up. These days people dissappear and never to be seen again. How Antigua and Barbuda linked to this disappearing all of a sudden? What blight is over this neighboring island?
Hmmmm…Even if they went on a boat to the US, which is usually the case, why not communicate with your parents? That’s strange and suspicious indeed
They were born in the Dominican Republic , Francisco is 32 and Brabely is 26
268 Government is responsible for revoking passports when discovered they are issued to known criminals and especially when the document are been used to do such deeds
@faithful national #1
Seems as though you have taken you head out of Gaston’s behind for just a brief moment to realize they have allowed every narya and tarya to aquire our passport and bring this country into disrepute bit I know as soon as you finished posting it you push your head right back up again
Fun fact their haritage is Antiguan. So Dem get passport quick. And Dem people who migrated to D.R. from Antigua where not easy. But not all Dem bad cuz Dem have couple doctors and lawyers in Dem family. People is people all over. Clearly Dem go on a mission but hoping for their well being
The tragic death of Chantel must not be forgotten. It is deeply troubling that individuals reportedly involved in this incident were members of the Spanish community—an issue that unfolded under the current GB administration. This administration not only failed to act decisively but also contributed to a growing problem by allowing members of this community to self-identify as “Antiguan nationals.”
This loose interpretation of national status has opened the door for virtually anyone, regardless of legal status or genuine ties to Antigua and Barbuda, to claim national identity. Such a trend raises serious questions about the integrity of our immigration and citizenship processes.
There is growing public concern about the disruptive behavior associated with some segments of the Spanish community. In the wake of Chantel’s death, one would have expected immigration authorities to act swiftly and firmly. Yet, there has been little to no visible enforcement. Instead, the flow of individuals—particularly from the Spanish and Jamaican communities—continues at scale, with planeloads arriving regularly.
With elections approaching, the political stakes are clear. It appears the ALP is unwilling to stem the flow of incoming migrants, likely seeing them as potential voters. However, this short-term political calculus could come at the long-term expense of national security and social cohesion.
Immigration policy must serve the national interest, not political expediency. It is time for the government to restore order, enforce the law, and protect the integrity of Antiguan citizenship.
