“Nikki was actually one of the most out of the box kind of records I’ve done since Turn Me On,” I really came up with the record because i felt the vibe the music gave; it’s groovy and fun to dance to. I decided that singing my regular way would not give the ideal result hence I really leaned towards making the delivery of the record more pop than anything else.
