The University of the West Indies (UWI) has selected Bradley Harris to receive Mill Reef Fund Education Grant for this school year. The US$18,000 grant will pay for his tuition and board at Cave Hill, Barbados Campus for his third and final undergraduate year.
The grant is awarded to an Antiguan student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and good citizenship. Mr. Harris, 21, is from Belleview Estate. He attended Sunnyside Tutorial Primary School and graduated from Antigua Grammar School where he excelled academically and in extra curricular activities.
He spent two years at Antigua State College majoring in Computer Science, and earning a 3.70 cumulative GPA. Mr. Harris expects to graduate from UWI in November 2020. Mill Reef Fund trustees established this annual grant in 2014, and Mr. Harris is its sixth recipient.
