Affirming his resolve to continue to help his constituents wherever possible and within his limits as a non-Government MP, Richard Lewis, representative for St John’s Rural West, handed over a donation of Siliconizer and Plastic Roof Cement to the Central Board of Health (CBH) to undertake maintenance work at the Gray’s Farm Clinic which experienced some flooding recently.
Following a visit by Lewis to the clinic, it was brought to his attention that a concrete section of the roof needed maintenance work to stop the leaking.
The MP acquired the Siliconizer and the Plastic Roof Cement items, and handed them over to CBH workers who will carry out the maintenance work.
“The hurricane season is upon us and this is no time for our clinics to be poorly maintained,” says MP Lewis.
“The Gray’s Farm clinic is vital to the Rural West constituency, and I will do whatever I can to see that the stability of the clinic is restored and in good order.”
Lewis continues to be very busy assisting his constituents.
Recently he donated two wheelchairs to two persons in his constituency who were very thankful for this much needed support.
