Hon. Asot Michael is the Victim of a Scam: He has no involvement with NearestEdge.com or any Cryptocurrency platforms

St. John’s Antigua and Barbuda, October 14th, 2024 — Hon. Asot A. Michael wishes to inform the public that he has been the victim of a fraudulent scam involving a fake cryptocurrency trading and investment platform, NearestEdge.com. This platform, now defunct, falsely claimed that Hon. Michael endorsed or was involved with their operations.

We categorically refute these baseless claims. Hon. Asot Michael has never participated in any activities related to NearestEdge.com, nor has he endorsed any cryptocurrency or AI trading platforms. Furthermore, any suggestion that Hon. Michael participated in interviews or facilitated anyone’s involvement with this platform, including ABS TV anchor Garfield Burford, is completely false.

We thank members of the public for their understanding and caution them to be wary of online scams of this nature.
