NOTICE: CAUTION ON FRIARS HILL ROAD

The Ministry of Works will be intensifying its efforts to bring a permanent resolution to the deteriorated portion of Friars Hill Road this week, recognizing the traffic congestion and safety concerns it has been causing for motorists and pedestrians alike.

Technicians have identified the issues and are now mobilizing all available resources to implement a lasting solution to the problem.

The Ministry, in the meantime, is once again asking the public to be patient over the next few days as its team members continue to work tirelessly in collaboration with the Antigua Public Utilities Authority to create a permanent fix to the issues to ensure safer and smoother travel for all road users.

  1. They have cut massive deals with BHM and are now asking us to be cautious. We once again find ourselves paying a second and third time for the same jobs.
