Mother complains that man in his late 30s has had sex with her teenage daughter; police arrest and charge the accused

REAL NEWS: Amidst investigations into a sexual offence allegedly committed against a teenage girl, the Police have arrested and charged a man in his late 30s.

Reports say the Rape Unit is looking into the act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

The victim’s mother is alleged to have reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) that a known man has been having sex with her 15-year-old daughter.

Reportedly, the woman told the Police that the criminal offence might have occurred between January and April this year.

Investigations into the complaint took place and, as a result, the 38-year-old man was detained and questioned.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse against the minor.

The offence reportedly occurred between March 1 and 31.

      Whether a child is willing to participate or not, a man in his thirties knows that he will be charged and jailed for indulging a minor whether consensual or not.
