The Miss St. John’s Rural West Pageant will return on Feb. 7, 2026, marking the revival of a constituency tradition centered on culture, confidence and community representation.
The event, themed “Rekindled,” is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Multipurpose Cultural Centre. Organizers say the pageant is being reintroduced to celebrate local talent while restoring a long-running cultural showcase in St. John’s Rural West.
Tickets cost $40 and will be available from Cool & Smooth, Bridge Service Station, Mr. Garfield and Roti King. Cool & Smooth is the title sponsor of the event.
The pageant is being staged in collaboration with the Fire Phoenix Foundation and will be held under the auspices of Senator Michael Joseph.

Organizers described the 2026 edition as a renewed celebration of pageantry in the constituency, highlighting tradition and community involvement as the event returns after a hiatus.

Michael, we already have a Miss Labour Queen. We don’t need another queen show. When was the last time you pass and see all the mountains of garbage and dutty places around the constituency?
Are you waiting to see how much Mr Lewis can clean with his own money? That will not be much. You have access to all the heavy equipment and trucks in government. Why don’t you stop waltzing around trying to do every thing that keep your fingernails clean and start paying attention to the important needs of the people in Rural west. And that is not a queen show.
No more queen show. Get off your lazy backside and start cleaning up the place. Mr Lewis will help you if you ask for his help. He is like that. Stop trying to be like your leader who only want to go on stage and sing in AI.
You want to go on stage and crown queen and try to look good. Give me a damn break.
