The Ministry of Works says construction and upgrade works across several communities continued at a steady pace in October, with more than 36,000 cubic feet of concrete produced to support the nationwide push to improve roads, curbs and drains.
In an update released this week, the Ministry confirmed that its concrete plant generated 36,585 cubic feet of poured concrete last month, allowing teams to advance road rehabilitation efforts across multiple districts.
Officials say preparations are also under way for the long-awaited restoration of All Saints Road, one of the country’s key thoroughfares. The Ministry noted that this phase of work is being closely coordinated with APUA’s national repiping initiative to ensure both projects are aligned and minimise public disruption.

A “major update” on the All Saints Road project is expected following next week’s Cabinet meeting, according to the statement.
The Ministry thanked the public for its continued patience, adding that the Government remains committed to delivering wide-scale infrastructure transformation across Antigua and Barbuda. “The best is yet to come,” the statement said.
