MoFA – Antigua and Barbuda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. E.P. Chet Greene is already in the midst of a busy schedule of engagements in New York at the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

On Tuesday alone, he was in attendance at the opening of the General Debate of the UNGA and held a productive and fruitful bilateral discussion with the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Mr Ivica Dacic.

He also addressed two major meetings on a variety of issues affecting Antigua and Barbuda and small island developing nations.

The first one was convened by the Global Development Initiative, a response by the People’s Republic of China to support small nations in dealing with issues of food security, debt recovery, renewable energy and the digital economy.

Later in the evening, he also shared Antigua and Barbuda’s experience and commitment to the fight against plastic pollution at an event, Towards Ending Plastic Pollution by 2040 – 15 Global Policy Interventions for Systems Change, organised by the Nordic Cooperation.

Minister Greene is part of a high level delegation, led by Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne along with Health and Environment Minister Sir Hon Molwyn Joseph attending #UNGA78.

Brix, I hope you noticed. A HIGH-LEVEL DELEGATION LED BY PRIME MINISTER THE HON. GASTON BROWNE.

Not a delegation of laggards, losers, murderers and conmen.

    Best representation. Leadership matters.
