Mill Reef Club Robbery: Bussawan Pleads Guilty, Co-Accused Denies Charges

1

Rickardo Bussawan has admitted to aggravated robbery at the Mill Reef Club, targeting three elderly victims on April 6, 2022. His co-accused, Delon Wills, denies involvement, while a third suspect, Marlon Carr, awaits arraignment.

The attack, involving three masked men armed with knives, saw the victims—James and Elizabeth Lewis, both in their 70s, and a friend—bound with duct tape and robbed of valuables, including $10,000 in jewelry, electronics, and over $1,100 in cash.

The suspects fled after locking the victims in a bedroom, but they managed to free themselves and report the crime, leading to arrests.

Bussawan will be sentenced on January 17, 2025. Case management for Wills and Carr is scheduled for February 3, 2025, when Carr is expected to enter a plea.
