The annual MBS Run Walk Ride returns on Saturday, 22 November, with hundreds expected to lace up and take to the streets in a show of unity, fitness, and fun.
The event, organised by the Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS), will set off at 3:30 a.m. from two starting points — MBS Headquarters on Nevis Street and the Bolans Community Clinic — before converging at the scenic Morris Bay for the grand finish.
Participants can choose to run, walk, or cycle, making the event accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. Groups and teams are encouraged to take part, with special prizes on offer — including awards for the first group of ten or more participants to cross the finish line together.
Organisers say the Run Walk Ride aims to promote healthy living while fostering community spirit. The event has become a much-anticipated feature of the national health calendar, bringing together families, fitness enthusiasts, and community groups in a shared mission to move for wellness.
