  1. Can we all please agree to give the business owners and the Police, the legal right to shoot to kill these criminals. This is the only way to put a stop to this growing problem that will eventually affect our economy. One of the primary advantages we have over the other Caribbean islands is that we are the safest destination. If we lose that our tourism, jobs and the economy will suffer. If the Police cannot handle this situation maybe we need some citizens to form a vigilante possee to take these criminals out.

  2. @ Truth Seeker
I agree with you 100% people with businesses should be able to defend themselves and their business. They should be able to kill those mother fu**ers period

  3. When someone is caught with a gun they should say how they got it and it should be checked out to verify their story and anyone who is responsible for that gun to be in circulation from seller to buyer should be punished to the fullest extent of the law

  4. Without a shadow of a doubt the criminal fraternity have now declared engagement and affray on all law abiding and hardworking citizens of Antigua.

In recent times there has been a distinct growth in daytime robberies and gun crimes.

This latest escapade was around 3:21pm.

    NOW THAT’S BRAZEN!!!

If the government and our law enforcers do not fight fire with fire with these gun-totting criminals, it will be to the detriment to those from the diaspora from investing here or returning here to live. Also hardworking Antiguans will not want to start any businesses that involves day to day to cash transactions with the general public.

And furthermore, the tourism industry could witness a financial downturn that’ll cause 100s if not 1000s of potential job losses.

So surely if those of us living here can see the growth in these crimes, then surely Prime Minister Browne, the recently appointed Police Commissioner, and the Tourism Minister Max Fernandez can see this as well and then ACT accordingly.

    Make Antigua Safe Again …
