Police are investigating a shooting on Dickenson Bay Street that left a man injured after a gunman fired into his vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The incident reportedly occurred around 4 a.m. while the victim was seated inside his vehicle. According to reports, a masked assailant dressed in black approached the vehicle, pointed a firearm, and discharged a single round through the window.
The shot shattered the glass, causing the victim to suffer facial injuries from the debris. He was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he received treatment.
Investigations into the shooting are ongoing.
