Imagine if the electricity had gone before this what the income might have been
And the police would want us to believe their official data that shows an overall decline in total recorded crime across Antigua and Barbuda. Their statistics are obviously bogus. Out there is like an episode of the Wild Wild West and Gunsmoke. Everyday is another serious gun crime. The Attorney General position needs new impetus and life. The police can only work with what they have.
Either most Antiguan police full of 💩 and incompetent or the criminals are in the police force! Anyway shoutout to the minority of police officers that do their job well!
Shot in the NECK???
Somebody vying to become the next UPP candidate in St. Phillips South?
In the neck… damn… kirked.. let’s get em behind bars asap….
24/7 policing now!
The silence from the authorities in charge, and those running the country is deafening.
The Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers is making a lot of noise about the general public coming forward, and then neglecting to inform us, what the police force are actually going to do to stem the tide.
Then we have the Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin, who is forever releasing so-called statistical information that our crime is down compared to other Caribbean countries that have always had much higher criminal activities.
And then there’s good ol’ Gaston Browne, who was recently re-elected for a fourth – authoritarian – term (yep, my goodness 4!!!), and he ah run up he mout’ on every “monetary” matter accept the ALARMING rise in gun related crimes.
WHY THE CONTINUED SILENCE GASTON?
The country that I love and adore is spiralling out of control under the Prime Minister’s watch. He’s utterly useless, and many Antiguans warned what would happen if serious crimes wasn’t addressed.
Antigua & Barbuda is without a doubt is at a criminal crossroad, and if the above three people in charge of securing us and do not tackle these criminal activities by force, then we could reach the point of no return to our peace, happiness and tranquility.
WE DEMAND ACTION NOW!
These three “do nothing” crackpots can leave Antigua 🇦🇬 for pastures new if the proverbial sh#t 💩 hits the fan, whereas many Antiguans just cannot afford to do so…
IS MY ISLAND OF BIRTH,MY PARADISE,BECOMING THE WILD,WILD,WEST? WHERE ALL OF US WOULD BE DRIVING BULLET PROOF CARS AND WEARING BULLET PROOF VESTS FOR OUR PROTECTIONS.MINISTERS OF RELIGIONS,I NEED FROM YOU.THIS IS BECOMING AN OUT OF HANDS MATTER,VERY SERIOUS.
Please comfort your souls, we are still the safest in the Caribbean and that we should be proud of according to the Bobo Donkey who directs our crime fighting strategy

Since the police so tight lipped the guy that was shot..was involved in gun crimes in the past..I’ll leave that info
To: Eyewitness, that is very interesting? Could it be the gun runners clubs are imploding and cleaning their orders?
The gunman went for the jugular apparently the victim was ment to suffer as he would’ve bled out.
The shot to the throat could be a message that other should keep quiet.
The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crimes.
That situation would have cameras along the street where that car drives and them leaving that car unmask, then the device called shot spotter which is mounted on poles too that broadcast a geo-location on a map to all police vehicle that they can instantly mobilize to ensuing crime.
The streets saying he and others have been breaking into homes too so I guess they need this scumbag and his accomplices gone so we can help the police clean up our streets.
They are leaving the guns in your hands so you can wipe out each other black men, the same tactic that has been employed here in the US against black and brown people, where 11% of the population has more gun murders amongst them than any other race.
Go figure. Now we have a much bigger percentage in places like Antigua, so the impact will be more devastating. You will have more fear, more PTSD, more paranoia, and therefore more mental illness in our society.
So one way or the other, that’s what gun violence will eventually do. It will reach you, your kids your family, your friends.
This is a serious epidemic that we are dealing with.
It’s not just those who get the gunshots or who are killed are the victims alone, it’s all across the board.
The security of a nation should be the number one thing on any politicians agenda, and unfortunately in Antigua it’s not.
Without security, anarchy takes place of it.
Sad. Antigua will continue to suffer under a duffus like Cutie. I saw it in the eyes of the youth some 6 years ago, and now it’s playing out. A few of us cried for many thing to be put in place, only to be called names and unpatriotic..well here we are today. Back then a sitting MP wasn’t killed yet, Manny was not gunned down by corrupt cops, Shantel was not abducted and killed, and a 16 year old girl was not found murdered with her son found walking the dark streets, missing people were not turning up every minute, 5 boys didn’t rape a woman in the bushes, and the list is endless with the many senseless crimes that I saw coming on the horizon.
No one in government listened, on both sides.
Now here we’re are today.
