A rapist knew he would get not only 3 years in prison (the max at the time) but also 9 lashes with the notorious CAT O NINE TAIL on his bare bottom by 2 officers while tied down. The lashes were so severe, every lash took off some of your skin, leaving your bottom bloodied and not being able to sit down for many days. Hardly any rapist repeated his crime. Lashes were also given out to robbers, and violent criminals. They still have 3 CAT O NINE TAILS at the prison office. ABLP ITS TIME TO BRING IT BACK ALONG WITH THE GALLOWS, OR FIRING SQUAD!!!
