A source claims that an adult male sexually exploited a seven-year- old girl, and this offence was reported to the All Saints Police Station, by the mother.
The woman claims the offence – unlawful sexual intercourse –occurred sometime between April 12 and 14.
Some residents are expressing disgust at this alleged incident and are concerned about its far-reaching effects on the child.
The maximum penalty for this type of offence – that is, sex with a girl under the age of 12 years – is life imprisonment.

The act not only scars the victim, it hurts the family on both sides.
The only way we may get a “grip” is to seriously look at castration especially for offenders specifically those who love minors.
doesn’t necessarily apply to this case, as it an accusation vs conviction, but this country needs to start publishing names and photos of people found guilty of crimes. Especially crimes involving weapons, stealing and children. Criminals walk amongst us law abiding citizens.
Public shaming can be both a deterrent for criminals and increase the safety of the general public.

However, the parents in some circumstances are equally responsible and need to face some jail time as well.
Now some parents pay no attention the their little ones, leave them with any and everyone to go party, boat ride and even travel abroad while the child/ children are left by themselves and to the mercies of Jah.
And then there are others, if you look at the some of the people they leave their child/ children with, they hardly know the person, the family member is a vagabond, the relative is a drunk or on weed or both, maybe a sugga crutch uncle who is always thirsty but yet they choose to have their own way over being with their child or children. Such parents should be jailed for life and their children placed in foster homes.
Parents have a great responsibility and should do their part as a parent, I’m just saying, some parents are too slack and are the root cause for all this, remember, PREVENTION BETTER THAN CURE AND SOME THINGS CANNOT BE CURED BY MAN.
when this happens that child is stained for life, messed up for life, will struggle to have a stable life, it can never be the same for them. So parents, remember, DO YA DYAM GOD GIVEN JOB.
