Victim in New Field Incident Identified

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, 17 March 2026

The Police have formally identified the male victim who died as a result of an alleged stabbing incident at Lion’s Estate in New Field as 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred sometime during the early hours of Monday, 16 March 2026.

It is alleged that the deceased entered the home of a resident in the New Field area, during which a confrontation ensued.


During the altercation, Mr. Lewis reportedly sustained a wound to the lower part of his body.

Emergency personnel later responded to the scene; however, he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:38 a.m.

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing.

    This was his mom in law his wife mother who did this to him.
    He is from here in Giraudel he is a very good loving person.
    He love his wife since school days they were together very long.

  9. Glanvilles village is far from Lions Hill in New field. He lives in Glanvilles. His wife no longer lives with him. She move back to her mother’s house. He knew at that time his x wife was not at home and the mother in Law was alone home. Them kind ah time in the morning, what the hell He went to that house for with his face covered. What was his intention. To kill, to steal or to rape. The lone woman in the house who was his mother in Law said, he sexual assaulted her. They began to wrestle. Mabe she was fighting fo stay alive. In the absence of a gun, she make use of a knife. I can imagine she fought like Arnold Swazeneger to stay alive. We are seeking justice for that woman. Too many mask men roaming Antigua street. He entered the wrong house. Did he still had his balls intact ? That too should be removed. Say no to domestic violence
