Man Stabbed in Domestic Dispute in Belmont

A domestic altercation in Belmont on Friday evening left a man hospitalized after being stabbed in the groin during a violent confrontation with his former partner. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHAT’S APP GROUP

Police said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on October 10, 2025, following an argument between the pair inside their home.

Emergency services received a call from a woman who admitted to stabbing her ex-boyfriend during the dispute. Responding officers found bloodstains throughout the living room and hallway, along with a knife and a black shirt believed to be linked to the attack.

The injured man was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he underwent emergency surgery for a wound to his left groin. Doctors later confirmed that he was in stable condition.

Senior investigators and forensic teams processed the scene as police continue their inquiries. No charges have yet been filed.

Authorities said domestic violence continues to be a serious concern and are urging individuals in strained relationships to seek help before conflicts turn violent.
