A 42yr old fisherman of Golden Grove is nursing a chest wound, following an alleged altercation at the West Bus Station Tuesday evening.

The man who owns and operates a boat in the area, was reportedly injured with a sharp object by another man, who also works on the said fishing vessel.

He was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center by the EMS, where he was treated.

A medical doctor at the hospital reported that his wound is not life-threatening.

A male suspect of Bendals is currently being sought by the police in connection with the ongoing investigation

  5. I sympathize with you, it is a shame that a young woman’s life is loss and Bowen walks around like he is so righteous. He murder this young woman and got off on a technicality and the same UPP government did not retry the case. Now we have a murder running for a government office. Shame on Harold Lovell.

  6. One of the BIGGEST SURPRISES will come to play at the end of time. People will be shocked to see that some people make it into the Kingdom of God (Heaven) and others do not. Prostitutes, thieves, murderers, drug pushers, etc will be there while pastors, people who are seen in church every time the church building opens, preachers who claim to cast out demons, heal the sick, will not be there.

    SIMPLE TRUTH! HARD TO SWALLOW BUT IT IS THE TRUTH.

    No man can judge another. Judgment is only for God to do. He knows the heart. Mankind’s judgment is flawed and corrupt.

    We look at men like Adolf Hitler, Sadaam Hussein, and Edi Amin and we condemn them to hellfire. However, we do not know how these men and many others spend their last days/hours. If they ever made peace with their Creator. Some of these famous world tyrants may end up in heaven.

    Who are we to judge? We are all guilty and the death sentence hangs over our heads. Only when we sincerely repent and turn to God that we have the assurance of eternal life.

    Once saved is not always saved. However, the day of judgment will reveal all and everyone will at that time find out why Mark made it into the Heavenly kingdom, but Andy does not.

    It is appointed to man once to die. After this is the judgment. The righteous Judge will reign, and He alone will decide.

    So, no one can cast a stone at another. Our sins are all counted as just that sin. There is no little sin and big sin. We transgress the law of God, and our penalty is that second death.

    Until then…let us not attempt to judge for with the same measure that we pronounce judgment on others; it will definitely be our fate also.

    At the end of the day; everyone will accept that God’s judgment is FAIR. Emphasis: EVERYONE!

    • Hate to inform you but the only biblically correct process of reformation in order to qualify for heaven is John 3:5. You must be born again, of water and spirit. Also see Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21. This should then be followed by righteous works but it cannot be replaced by them. You might say, “what about the people who don’t have a chance to be baptized?”. To that I will ask, what about those who don’t have a chance to repent? Jesus was very clear, “…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” To those who have not done either I ask…what are you waiting for???

    Her family and friends want justice and closer.
