First of all, thank you for publishing my “Story to Tell!” letter couple of weeks ago.
Following up on my original story, I have some good news.
I am not sure if it is because Antiguanewsroom published my story but couple of days after you did I received a phone call from a very nice lady, senior management employee I suppose, who apologized for the way my situation had been handled.

She then explained that a refund from the original US721.20 paid, minus a US$50.00 per ticket of US$100 in total for processing (although only 1 reservation was made) will be refunded within 21 working days.
I am delighted to confirm that I received the refund today.
So for the community out there, don’t hesitate to tell your story to the rest of us. The power of media is great when used adequately and for the right reasons. It worked for me and I am sure it will work for you.
The Caribbean Airline employee who dealt with me, asked me to give the airline a second chance, I think I will, as I do intend to finally take my trip to Dominica! And I guess I wont be swimming there after all!
