1

A man is remanded in custody at His Majesty’s Prison for allegedly using someone else’s identity to fraudulently acquire and resell a vehicle.

Jahmuel Samuels crashed a rented vehicle while using another person’s driver’s license. He promised to buy the vehicle from the owner but allegedly failed to make the payments and stopped communicating.

He later posted the vehicle for sale on Facebook using a false identity.

A buyer paid a down payment but discovered the vehicle wasn’t in the defendant’s name.

The accused fled to St. Vincent but was charged upon returning.

He was denied bail and is scheduled for a court hearing on June 29.
