Forty-three-year-old Sean Dubbery was sentenced to two years imprisonment and ordered to pay $15,000 for being in possession of close to 160 pounds of Cannabis.

Officers from the ONDCP found just under 140 sealed packages during a search of Dubbery’s home in Sea View Farm on June 21, 2017.

Some of the drugs were found in the kitchen, the defendant’s bedroom and out in the yard.

Among their discoveries, officers found a vacuum sealer and digital scales, which investigators believed were used as part of the illicit drug trade.

The defendant pleaded guilty to charges of possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

For the possession of cannabis charge, the judge began with a sentence of six years, which was reduced for various mitigating factors.

His plea of guilt earned him a reduction of 1/3 of the sentence bringing it to four years.

It was further reduced by two years for his previous good character and positive statements made about him in a social inquiry report.

Duberry was given until the end of his incarceration to pay the $15,000 fine. In default, he will spend an additional 36 months in prison.

He was reprimanded and discharged on the charge of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

  1. I would take the additional 36 months and keep my money! He is in prison how would he accumulate that money to pay, these people are ridiculous smfh!

  2. Please tell me what is good behavior. A man is involved in the drug trade. He is not concerned about who he trade affects. He targets who so ever has money, big little and in between. He is arrested and charged. He goes to court and pleads guilty. Then we have him getting a reduction on his sentence for good character. Since she is being quietly involved in the drug trade a good character trait? Then again which drug dealer ever goes in the center of town and proclaim that he is a drug dealer. I have a hard time understanding and accepting that there is good what good character is in a person whose trade leads to zombies in the neighborhood. I guess drud dealing is now a noble profession and people can seek sponsorship from drug dealers. Soon they will be in the media advertising their drug business.
