Police are investigating a home invasion that left a 52-year-old man injured on lower All Saints Road near the Craft Market.

The attack occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Friday when an intruder reportedly broke into the man’s home while he slept. The homeowner was allegedly struck twice in the face with a metal object after telling the suspect he had no money.

Emergency services treated the man at the scene before taking him to hospital, where he required several stitches. He is in stable condition.

Police have searched the area and spoken to residents but have made no arrests. The suspect remains at large. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department.

  1. We need help in GANGSTERS PARADISE. Dear Father deliver us, the people running our affairs are useless as they themselves are poor examples of what is required to be a good citizen. Things are only going to get worse if we do not get rid of them soonest

  2. The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china and replace all streetlights to help solve crime around Antigua.
The battery will be mounted at the top instead a foolish mistake that APUA made.

  3. @ eldread…go and living in the moon with your lodge friends if you are asking for S.E.C.U.R.I.T.Y.

PS.doing for the rest of your body because your B.H never been the same after man craft.

  4. WE ARE THE CRIME STOPPERS- you sound under educated. What does the government have to do with crime being committed, have you ever visited any other country. Crime is something that can’t be stopped because there will always be loop holes. For once tap blame the government and tap run I mouth and get into action with that same energy. It takes the people to build a country not just the government. Sorry for the victim and I’m sorry he didn’t get the upper hand and take this man’s life them no want no work fu do, so damn sickening.

  5. @ Eldread,
Not gotten happen .. Crime pays in every corner of the country from the unseen top brass to the streets.
I needs to get worse then they’ll say later we address the crime problem

  6. Crime is not a political thing, no party in power can stop it, but it can be curtailed by getting solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights for better law enforcement.
