Antigua and Barbuda Police are investigating an incident in Piccadilly that left a man with head injuries on Sunday night.
Officers were called around 8:00 p.m. and found the man lying on the roadside. He was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he remains under care.

The victim told police he had been walking along the main road when a white car approached from behind with its headlights switched off. He said he jumped to avoid the vehicle, fell, and struck his head.
Police say inquiries are continuing.
