A man was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after allegedly swallowing a small plastic bag containing cocaine.

Emergency services were called to Lower All Saints Road at about 22:20 local time on 5 August, where the man was found and taken for treatment.

Preliminary reports indicate he told police he swallowed the bag after spotting officers approaching near a supermarket.

On arrival at the hospital, he reportedly went to the restroom, vomited the bag and its contents, and flushed them away. A CT scan was performed, and he was issued a police medical form with instructions for follow-up care.

Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.

  1. Well it was meant to be taken in any case. He just chose an unconventional way to do it.
Lol he pull a fast one on the police

  2. Where is Chantel result, Is this another one that’s gonna just disappear? This innocent child passed away suddenly after an abduction and an inconclusive result was made by the pathologist immediately after her death, for clarity and the true result another effort was made months ago and up to this day nothing!
This poor and helpless family, lack of resources, totally dependent on our government have to just sit and wait. Chantel smile and waved to her friends as the vehicle departs, after her death I assume no signs of chocking, poison or suffocating since this would have been revealed, so was inconclusive meant she saw something so horrible that immediately shocked her young body to sleep?
This is now heading in the direction where an accused murderer gets off with just a guilty abduction sentence instead of murder and like so many cases in Wadadli no real closure to the family.
